Brian Urlacher missed his sixth consecutive practice on Tuesday. Coach Lovie Smith said it was because of personal reasons and not because of his injured knee. All reports prior to training camp had Smith and Urlacher saying that the 33 year old linebacker would be 100% by the start of the season.
Well here we are, one day away from the first preseason game and still no playing for Urlacher. Let’s all just hope there is not a serious issue with Urlacher’s knee as he is a dominating force on the defensive team!
