Well, the king has been dethroned. After topping the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list for the past two years, Jay-Z fell to second, being bested by Dr. Dre! With the bulk of his earnings coming from the uber-successful Beats By Dre, the doc made $110 million dollars last year.
Coming in second place was Diddy making $45 million *take that take that* with the majority of his earnings coming from Ciroc Vodka. Don’t feel too bad for Jay-Z though, last year he pulled in $38 million. Half of his earnings came from business ventures including the Brooklyn Nets, Duracell batteries and Carol’s Daughter.
