Nicki Minaj is having one heck of a week! After cancelling several shows due to damaging her vocal cords, Minaj sent a firestorm of tweets to her criticizers.
“I was in jeopardy of losing my voice entirely and needing surgery on my vocal chord If u can’t understand that, your mother’s a WHORE!!!! I will NOT let you people make me feel horrible for a f– HEALTH issue! That’s what got me in this mess! I shldve (should have) listened 2 the doctor!”
As if that drama weren’t enough, reports surfaced Friday that rapper would join Mariah Carey as one of the judges on American Idol. *cues hissing cats* Well, Mariah did not like that too well as she was led to believe she would be the only woman on the panel. Not only is Nicki younger than the 42 year old diva, but Nicki is experiencing superstardom where Mariah is just, simply put aging. There are claims that Mariah is pissed with Fox about the whole situation but there have not been any official statements released.
Just this morning, Nicki released a picture of her new perfume “Pink Friday”. The name plays obviously off the success of her freshman album and tour (which ended yesterday). The bottle is a silhouette type of image of Minaj, completely Barbed out with a pink wig, pink lip stick and iced out Nicki Minaj chain.
