“I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy. The proper way for him to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. But to put it on his record, would just not be right.”

Drake Releases First Single From Aaliyah Album
Rapper Drake has never been shy about his adoration for fallen songbird Aaliyah. Outside of having her picture tattooed on his shoulder, Drake recently got Aaliyah’s birthday tatted on him as well. Now it looks like Drake will be producing a posthumous Aaliyah album.
Over the weekend, a song from the alleged album leaked. “Enough Said” is produced by Drake’s producer Noah “40” Shebib and reportedly received blessing from Aaliyah’s estate. Aaliyah’s voice over 40’s beat is undoubtedly a hit, but many fans of the singer are upset that a posthumous album is being produced and neither Missy Elliot nor Timbaland are a part of it.
Timbaland recently sat down with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and had this to say about a Drake produced Aaliyah album.
