Although you may not know who they are, more than likely you’ve caught yourself singing one of their infectious hooks in the shower. Or….possibly in your car, you’ve had your jam cranked up to the max singing so loud they could hear you in at least five or six blocks away. Chicago’s homegrown Da Internz seemingly appeared out of nowhere and have set the production world on fire. We all know that Chicago has musical talent with musical roots dating back to Chess Records, so the fact that we have Da Internz making musical hits should not be a surprise.
Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark have been making music together for eight years and some of their more recent credits include Nas’ “The Don”, Big Sean “A$$” and Rihanna “Birthday Cake.” But don’t count them out as just a hip hop producing duo. They have also worked with pop artists Justin Bieber and JoJo as well.
Da Internz stopped by the Global Mixx Music Forum held yesterday in their home city Chicago and dropped tons of knowledge on artists, producers and dj’s. Their upcoming projects include Ludacris’ Ludaversal and Nellys’ latest. If their previous track work is any indication of things to come, these two projects will be something special!
