Yesterday Hip-hip has lost another great person. Famous Hip-Hop manager Chris Lighty was found dead after committing suicide in his Bronx Apartment. According to reports, Lightly put a gun to his head and shot himself after an argument with his ex-wife Veronica. It was also reported that Lightly had owed the IRS $5 million in unpaid taxes.
Lighty was the owner of Violator Entertainment. He was responsible for many careers such as Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, and many more. Condolences and prayers go out to the family in this tragic time. He’s a great part of Hip-Hop that will be truly missed….
