Mrs. Obama at the DNC!!!!

Last night at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina Michelle Obama took center stage as she praised her husband’s accomplishments and doing a good job convincing us to give him a second term. President Obama isn’t doing as well with women voters as he once did, so Mrs. Obama’s speech was critical. She touched on things such as how she and Barack’s beliefs and core values parallel those of typical Americans. She did an excellent job of humanizing her husband and told stories of how she fell in love with him in the first place. Mrs. Obama particularly made a reference to herself as just a mom at the end of the day possibly as a way to connect to those undecided women voters. President Obama was not in Charlotte at the time of the speech, but rather watching the speech at home with daughters Sasha and Malia. As she exited the stage in a personal rendition (yes she has her OWN version of the song) of Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied”, Mrs. Obama thanked the crowd and was definitely swagged out.
