Chicago has seen its fair share of blood shed this year, even at times making international news. Well last night another victim fell to our violent streets. 16 year old rapper Joseph Coleman aka Lil JoJo was gunned down yesterday on the 6900 block of South Princeton.
According to reports, Coleman was riding his bicycle around 9pm last night when a gunman in a tan or gray car opened fire. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
This story has all too often been told this year. Due to an unseasonably warm winter, there was no decline in the murders that Chicago saw this year. There has to be some type of responsibility and accountability taken by us as a city. Let us rally behind peace and stand against violence ladies and gentlemen. Our reputation depends on it!!!!!
