Actors have the Oscars. Recording Artists have the Grammys. Even horrible movies at the box office get a Razzy. In a time where it seems as if everyone can earn an award, one key element from the entertainment industry was missing…Where’s the award for the DJ’s???? Well DJ’s look no further because thanks to former Bad Boy Exec, Shawn Perez, there is now a platform where the party starters are honored. This year a couple of Chicago’s own were honored.
DJ Pharris and Sean Mac are synonymous with Chicago music and now they are being honored on a national spotlight. DJ Pharris took home the Midwest Mixshow Award and Sean Mac received the Midwest Club DJ Award. Congrats to the homies on all their accomplishments!!!
