Although she was born in Upstate, New York-Lstreetz is soooo Chicago!!! Introduced to rapping by watching cyphers at her school Lstreetz, born Laqueise Pettigrew, quickly became a force in the emerging Chicago rap scene. She released her first mixtape “Nightmare on Lstreet” November of 2009 which went on to sell 900 units throughout the city. This response for a freshman release without a label backing was unprecedented and Lstreetz took notice, parlaying that into her grind. Lstreetz latest release, “Anti Social” is hosted by DJ MZ Stylez with DJ Green Lantern, features producers Young Chop, Elo, Paris Beuller and artists Shawnna and Bo Deal.
