Over the weekend Jay-Z lived out a childhood dream become true. Over the years Jigga has become a partial NBA owner of the at once New Jersey Nets. He was able to bring the Nets to Brooklyn, rename the team to the Brooklyn Nets, and open a new stadium in his childhood neighborhood called the Barclays Center. During this weekend Jigga man open the doors to the stadium the 1st time and is having a 8 show series of concerts in celebration of the new venue opening up. Celebrities where on deck like Rhianna, J. Cole, Bow Wow, and more. Jay was more than overwhelmed with grand opening saying to the crowd “I’m been on many stages all around the world and nothing feels like tonight. I can’t believe that this day has come” Jay-Z rocked the crowd with classics and paid respect to another native Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G. Much love to Jay-Z doing big things for his city and his neighborhood!
