Target made headlines in 2010 when Lady Gaga pulled out of a partnership for the release of her “Born This Way” album. Gaga found out that Target donated $150,000 to right wing Republican Tom Emmer’s gubernatorial campaign. Emmer is a known anti-gay marriage advocate and once Gaga caught wind of the affiliation, she ended the deal. Of course, Target is sticking to their “Itunes” story, but all of us with a brain know better!

Frank OCean Gets No Love From Target!!!!
Well, Mr. Ocean, let the backlash begin! Following his announcement of being a bisexual man, Target has decided not to carry Frank Ocean’s album “Channel Orange”. The official release date of Ocean’s album is July 17th but he shocked the media by releasing it early on Itunes and streaming it for free on his tumblr page. This apparently is the reason behind Target not carrying his album. According to Target rep Erica Julkowski
