Saturday, Vice President hopeful Paul Ryan and his wife Janna stopped by a soup kitchen in Youngstown, Ohio for what seemed like a typical campaign stop. It’s not uncommon for politicians to stop by places like this, especially so close to the election.
However, what made this particular stop so interesting is apparently did not get permission to show up at the kitchen. According to the President of the Mahoning County St. Vincent De Paul Society Brian J. Antal, Ryan showed up well after all the patrons had been served and left.
In an interview with the Washington Post, Antal said
"They got one of the volunteers to open up the doors”
He put on an apron and pretended to wash dishes while news cameras were there.
“He did nothing. He just came in here to get his picture taken at the dining hall.”
So apparently, Ryan washed dishes that were already clean in order to get a nice photo op...hmmmm...sounds major fishy to me! Check out the pics below of Ryan and his wife “washing dishes”.
